He graduated from Aegean University Medical Faculty in 1989. He finished his Otolaryngology residency training at İzmir Atatürk Education and Research Hospital in 1994. He got his first academic degree in Pamukkale University in 1995. He worked as a research fellow in University of Pittsburgh Department of Otolaryngology between 1997-1998.
He is an highly qualified surgeon with a working experience of 30 years. He is an internationally well known expert on Otology and Neurotology.He is the editor of famous textbook named"Vertigo" .
Although he is known as an Otologist he has great experience on Head and Neck Oncology, Nose and Paranasal Sinuses. He is an expert on all kinds of microscopic and endoscopic interventions.
